the snow moon

Feb 10, 2017 | nature & awe | 6 comments

The Snow Moon comes tonight.

Still I can’t help posting these photos from last night.

Because for the first time in many, many years, I happened to be where snow fell all day long.

Then as day began its slip to night,

temperatures dropped to the low 20s

and a big ol’ moon rose bright over the tree tops.

I love February.

I’d love to send a note when there’s a new post on The Daily Grace. Just leave your email here.

It was a treat! Although 82 degrees isn’t bad, either! Love!

Ooooooh, I love ?? it! Got the fire goin’, got plenty of hot chocolate??? It’s time to crack the nuts and make some fudge.

Yay, Joretta! We definitely got the fire going–fudge is a fantastic idea!

Hi. I’m Cathy.

This is a blog about writing, creative living, and grace in the everyday. It’s my hope this little spot on the internet will be for you a place of quiet and reflection, a source for inspiration, and a reminder there’s beauty all around—we simply need to keep our hearts open to see it. Thank you for being here with me.
