Last night when I got home from work, I went out to check the bird feeders. This is what I found, right there in the exact spot in which I (very, very regularly) stand:
I immediately thought:
(Actually I can’t say what I really thought.)
Then I quickly backed up a few feet.
And then I thought:
Now what?
