It’s something that’s been on my mind since we started our new study, a quiet little sentence sandwiched in the middle of a five-statement pledge. One little thought a person might not even notice, really, positioned as it is, there amid heavier, blockbuster statements. But I didn’t even have to give it a second read, this #3, so stopped in my tracks I was.
I am who He says I am.
A statement of belief, one of five in Beth Moore’s Believing God.
I am who He says I am.

It’s the kind of thought that changes everything, don’t you agree? The kind of thought that fills a heart with possibility and light and grace. For surely God created us—each of us—to stand in magnificence and perfection.
What would it be like to live in that space? I’ve been wondering. What would it be like to hold up our mirrors, and instead of obsessing over the flaws, to see the perfection God sees? To put down the arguments against, and instead, to let ourselves be?
I am who He says I am.
I am who He says
I am.
Oh you must know how I love this one !

I am or the Sanskrit So Hum is a wonderful, reaffirming meditation.
I must meditate. I must meditate. I must meditate!
