With apologies to The Daily Grace’s newest subscriber, Eddie E., who I am quite sure has no use for this post. Do come back tomorrow?
It has changed my January, this holiday joy, the surprise I now consider a gift within a gift. So much so that I boldly asked for the formula. (I just can’t call it a recipe. It’s too fabulous for that.)
My friend Stephanie kindly obliged.
Peppermint Sugar Scrub, via Homespun With Love
3 cups white granulated sugar
1 cup grape seed oil
Peppermint oil {added to your liking}
In a medium bowl, add sugar and oil. Mix to combine. Check for desired consistency adding more oil and/or sugar as needed. Add in your peppermint oil and mix well. Spoon into clean, dry jar(s). Since the oil will float to the top, this will need to stirred prior to using. This can be used all over the body, but is especially good for feet and hands. Should stay fresh for about two weeks.
Make yourself a batch. And slather it on. It’s luscious—and the perfect new year challenge for all we I-Couldn’t-Possibly-Use-It-On-An-Average-Tuesday Savers.
30 Days of Joy
Making this tonight!!!
I too received a jar from Stephanie, and I love it too! Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!
I can practically smell it from Florida! How did it get its pretty color?
I forgot that part! Steph said she added just a bit of food coloring, for fun. I love the pink-ness.
