As happens so often, the early morning sun called me to the back yard. My husband laughed as he eyed me from the kitchen window—still in my pajamas, coffee and camera in hand.
But look, just look what i found.
What stunning beauty nature brings us as the world is refreshed each day.
How wonderful to be here, amid all Creation.
Truly grasps the meaning of stopping and smelling the roses. Bravo.
Isn’t it interesting how God will bring it right to you–or you right to it–if you just slow down and notice? XXOO
I am sharing your posting with my 5th grade religious education class on Monday evening, Cathy! We have been discussing how all of Creation is a gift from God and gives us glimpses of the great love He has for each of us. I’ve been trying to get them to give thanks for these gifts, no matter how big or how small, by being attuned to them and being aware of Him in them. Your post expresses that so beautifully!! Thank you!! xo
My heart leaps as I read this. How I wish I could be a student in your class! What a wonderful teacher you are, and how lucky these students are to have you. A powerful lesson each can carry with them their entire lives. A lesson that changes everything.
Thank you for letting me share in that, my friend.
